4.5mm double jacket 12F 24F MPO to MPO fiber optic cable manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination. This 12F 24F MPO fiber optic cable is designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers which need space saving and reduce cable management troubles. MPO cable assembly fiber densities range from 8F, 12F, 24F to 144 strands and may be ordered with the following MPO connector configurations:
8 Fiber—All fibers are contained within a single MPO connector with the inner most fibers left blank. These MPO fiber optic cables are most often used to establish 40G (40GBASE-SR4) in between two QSFP+ transceivers.
12 Fiber MPO—Most commonly used to interconnect fiber patch panels and fiber cassettes. Therefore avoids running large quantities of LC fiber patch cables. Additional applications of the MPO cable include assisting in the migration from 10G to 40G rates by consolidating fiber strands to a centralized location.
24 Fiber MPO—Available in two distinct configurations. Including two MPO 12 fiber cable connectors, or a single 24 fiber MPO connector. These MPO connector densities are currently the most popular. And provide compatibility with common devices. Such as QSFP+ and CXP transceivers for 40G and 100G rates.

MPO cable assemblies are offered in main 2 standard variants as the Trunks using double jacket 4.5 mm OD MicroCable structure and as a Patchleads using single jacket 3 mm OD MicroCable structure. Small and compact size of microcable is ideal for high density data center application.
